The Kiwanis Club of Taft has been serving the
community of Taft since January 7, 1925. It is a fun loving, hard working group
of over 50 men and women that keeps a full agenda of service and fund raising
activities going throughout the year. We invite you to our Thursday noon
meeting held at OT Cookhouse Banquet Room, 203 N. 10th St. in Taft, CA

The Kiwanis Club of Taft Board of directors meets the first Wednesday of the month at Paiks. This is now a dinner meeting that begins at 5:30 PM. This will begin on October 1, 2008 and will be Myron Smith’s first Board Meeting as our newly installed President.

Christmas and Easter party, Community Prayer Breakfast, Highway Clean-up and
working at the
Fund Raisers: Yard Sale for the purchase of a
small blood mobile; Spaghetti dinner and sauce contest and the ever popular Cow
Plop Bingo.

The Taste'a My Sauce'a dinner was a
big success again this year. The community was a buzz about this years spaghetti dinner and sauce contest. It was well
attended and everyone enjoyed the food, music and socializing that this
evening had to offer. Many contestants provided sauces and there was hardly a
ladle full left at the end of this wonderful evening. The Little League Pancake Breakfast was a success! As always, nearly every member of the club turned out to do their shift work in the cafeteria.
